Geographics Market Expansion Internship
Conduct in-depth research into state-specific training mandates, examining required materials, content, and compliance standards. Interns will analyze targeted competitors’ market presence, product offerings, pricing models, and partnerships to identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze data from public sources, including annual reports, industry publications, and market research.
Develop a detailed report outlining the following:
Geographic Market Research- Investigate targeted states’ training requirements for educators, school staff, and students.
- Identify the types of training materials and content currently mandated (e.g., topics, formats, and duration).
- Evaluate existing state-specific compliance standards and key differences across regions.
- Research competitors in the mandated training industry, including their market presence, customer base, and business strategies.
- Assess competitors’ product offerings, pricing structures, bundling practices, and key partnerships.
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation in the marketplace.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights to support geographic expansion planning.
- Provide recommendations on state-specific needs and opportunities to tailor our Mandated Training Suite for new markets.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with market research and public education is a plus
Compensation: Interns will be paid a stipend of $1,000 to $1,500 depending on their performance.
